Teal the End Original Painting on Tile

Teal the Morning is part of my Birch Collection and is a bright, lovely piece painting on upcycled tile. 

Birch trees are a favorite subject of mine. They are gorgeous in their unique patterned bark and I admire their resiliency to bend but oft not break during our New Hampshire winters. While weighed down by snow, they'll slowly rise back up after the snow melts away. 

This piece was painted in layers of hue blending, texturizing and mark making. Lots of teals and blues, pops of yellows and green. 

This piece is clear coated and signed by the artist. 

It is approximately 6 inches tall by 6 inches wide.
